We are incredibly excited to unveil Make Happy Tummies™, our new name, and look and usher in the next chapter in our 40-year fundraising history.

We embrace the future grateful to our partners and all Canadians whose generosity and commitment to our mission and store fundraising campaign, formerly under the name Toonies for Tummies, have made it possible for us to make over 10 million healthy meals possible in the last 7 years alone and who continue to help the hungry tummies who need us.

The Making of Make Happy Tummies

Make Happy Tummies elevates and brings to life the “heart” that has been at the core of the Toonies for Tummies’ brand. It’s been designed to uniquely capture the happiness enabled by a healthy breakfast foundational to a hungry student’s physical and emotional well-being and the joy that comes with nourishing a child to both children who benefit and to donors. We’re thrilled to hear from Canadians that the new Make Happy Tummies’ name and logo, anchored in a heart and smile, resonates and evokes joy.

While we have a new name and look, what has not changed is our commitment to ensuring that 100% of every donation you make to Make Happy Tummies be it in-store, at participating restaurants, or online will continue to benefit a local child.

Happy Tummies Matter

A growing body of research confirms the emotional and mental health effects of food insecurity. We have heard from many volunteers, leaders, educators, and partners in the programs we help fund that children are not only nourished and ready to learn, but they are also happier when a healthy breakfast is made available.
