Our Vision is simple: No child should go to school hungry in Canada

It may be a lofty goal, but alongside our unique community of industry partners and generous Canadians, we’re committed to it.

New Name.
New Look.
Same Mission.

Make Happy Tummies™ embodies the joy and physical benefits your generous support makes possible.

Make Happy Tummies (formerly Toonies for Tummies) is a fundraising initiative powered by the Grocery Foundation a non-profit organization supporting children’s-focused charities for over 40 years.

While we have a new name and a new look, our mission remains the same: getting food to hungry children.

1 in 3 children is at risk going to school on an empty stomach.1

100% of donations go directly to local school breakfast programs.2

3,000+ breakfast programs rely on donations from Make Happy Tummies.3

Demand for breakfast programs in some cases has doubled with others on funding waitlists.4

1M+ children have access to a local breakfast program in Ontario, Western & Atlantic Canada.

Our expansion into Quebec will add 50,000 meals.

We Are Better Together

Chasing dreams should be part of every child’s day. Going without breakfast shouldn’t be. Help us provide meals that support children’s success.
